There is a Space between all things,
a Moment between moments
that Is all opposites.
It is no more or less than that.
Rumi,
Lao Tzu, Teresa of Avila, Buddha and,
Leonard Cohen have all been There…
at the Dot between life and death.
They must have or they couldn’t have
written what they wrote.
It is the Spirit of Being
that holds both light and dark,
right and wrong,
happy and sad, sweetness and sorrow,
freedom and fear.
The Dot that is both here and there
It is that Place we all long to be
and that we also turn away from…
because of Its magnificence and,
our worry that we don’t deserve to know It.
